Hi, I’m Sarah!
Life is most fulfilling when we know and honor our true selves, and learn to live authentically from that place. Unfortunately, the messages we receive about ourselves from others about who they think we should be often get in the way. Challenging life events, like grief, childhood trauma, divorce, career changes, parenthood, and even the accumulation of small, everyday stressors may leave you feeling lost over time, wondering “Who am I? What matters to me? How do I move forward?”
As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Associate, it is my job to help you uncover the messages the world has given you about who you should be to help you discover who you really are, and begin living wholly from that place. Learning how to set boundaries, navigate difficult relationships, process past traumas, calm the nervous system, combat the chronic “fight or flight” responses that many of us find ourselves living in, and learn to live restoratively are all skills that can aid in the journey to begin living holistically from a place that is fully aligned with your passions, values, and visions that you have for your life.
I work with clients at all life stages, helping them overcome their unique challenges in order to pursue more peaceful, fulfilling lives. I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults, helping young people learn positive coping mechanisms and identify a healthy sense of self and direction. I take a collaborative and person-centered approach to my work, and consider it a great privilege to walk alongside clients in life’s most difficult trials and transitions. Clients who step into my office are stepping into a judgement-free zone, where all are welcome and where there is hope for every individual to live a life at peace with themselves.
