Hi, I’m Sarah!
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 10 years of experience working with youth and adults. While I work across the lifespan, I specialize in supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate some of the most formative and complex years of their lives.
I believe adolescence is a critical period that deserves thoughtful support, meaningful connection, and access to the right tools to navigate life with confidence. Therapy offers a rare and valuable space - one where teenagers can show up as themselves, without pressure or authority, and build a trusting relationship with a safe adult - allowing for honesty, autonomy, and genuine self-exploration.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Art Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Polyvagal-informed care, Attachment Theory, and Motivational Interviewing. I support clients in learning how to build emotional regulation skills, strengthen distress tolerance, develop healthier patterns in relationships, navigate complex social dynamics or family systems, process past experiences or traumas, and identify a clearer sense of values and identity.
I believe each person is an expert in their own life, and every young person deserves the opportunity to be heard, understood, and supported in becoming who they truly are. I create a judgement-free space where clients can move towards a life that is more peaceful, empowered, and aligned with their most authentic selves.
